Curren RV is now Curern Powersports. We are growing with the addition of a new location in Wellsboro, PA, expected to open late May or early June 2024. We are currently accepting applications for Wellsboro positions and will begin hiring in the near future. New hires will work for a limited time at the Pine City, NY location to learn our products and processes before opening the Wellsboro store. We carry a variety of products including ATVs, SXSs, Motorcycles, Compact Tractors, Utility Trailers, Dump Trailers, Equipment Trailers, Cargo Trailer, and Car Trailers.
We have an opening for a Sales Consultant. We are looking for a hard working, high energy, motivated Sales Consultant. We carry a variety of products including ATVs, SXSs, Motorcycles, Compact Tractors, Utility Trailers, Dump Trailers, Equipment Trailers, Cargo Trailer, and Car Trailers.
Our industry leading salary plus commission driven pay plan has an unlimited earning potential. Unlike most dealers, we offer commission to Sales Consultant on backend services sold with a unit. We have very high customer satisfaction due to our honest and straightforward sales process. We are very selective of the brands we represent and nearly all are ranked in the top of their industry segments. Some of the brand we represent include CFMoto (the fastest growing powersports brand in the USA, Sure-Trac Trailers, LOOK Cargo Trailers, Car Mate Trailers, Wells Cargo Enclosed Trailers, Yanmar Tractors, Aluma Trailers, and Mahindra Tractors.
Essential Job Functions:
- Take the lead to promote a top-notch, high quality customer experience selling our products
- Conduct effective demonstrations and walk through presentations
- Close sales effectively and meet sales goals
- Follow up and commit to a no-pressure, high integrity approach
- Generate ideas to exceed sales goals and demonstrate best revenue- generating practices to the team and organization
- Serve as a liaison between customers and all departments
- Stay on top of market trends, product changes, and current dealership inventory
- Be knowledgeable of and offer available accessories and add-ons
- Participate in manufacturer training for product knowledge and industry regulations
- Be enthusiastic and have strong communication with customers, co-workers and management
- Assist with basic lot upkeep: wipe down and sweep units; shine plastics and wheels, move units in/out of showroom, price and info signage correct and up to date; report any needed maintenance or repair
Essential Job Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, college a plus
- 2+ years' experience in sales ideally Powersports, Trailers, Compact Tractors or other big ticket items (RVs, automotive, furniture, real estate, etc)
- Have strong motivational skills and ability to work independently and as a team
- Professional appearance and demeanor necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by displaying enthusiasm and strong communication skills with customers, peers and management
- Basic computer skills to review inventory and enter customer information
- Valid driver's license
- Aprox 40 Hours per week. Must be able to work Saturdays.
